About Me

Hi, I’m Dylan Miller!

I’ve spent the last decade making parts with 3D printers in many different industries. In fact, I’ve designed and manufactured over 8 thousand 3D printed objects!

With this website, I’m hoping to use my knowledge to help everybody experience the exciting world of 3D printing by having one in their own home, school, or business.

My main aim is to help you, the new 3D printer buyer make the best choice possible and invite the 3D printing revolution into your home!

I’ve used many different types of 3D printing machines and materials and I’ve designed and manufactured parts on a diverse range of machines, some of my favorites are:

Fused Filament Fabrication of ABS, PLA, HIPS, and TPU using 3D Systems, Makerbot, Ultimaker, Lulzbot, Monoprice, Hictop, AnyCubic, Qidi, XYZ, Dremel, and Flashforge machines.

Stereolithography (SLA) using photopolymer resins – mainly 3D Systems machines as well as budget home systems.

Fused Deposition Modeling of ABS, Nylon, Polyjet flexible materials and sacrificial core materials for composite tool design on Stratasys Fortus and Objet machines.

Composite Filament Fabrication (CFF) aka Markforged Mark One which prints Nylon and Carbon Fibre thread.

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) of steels and titanium alloys using EOS machines.

I hope my experience of working in the 3D printing industry will enable me to provide home and small business users with the guidance they need to start taking advantage of the great opportunities available in the world of 3D printing.
